| Con motivo de unos encuentros musicales, Fernando, violinista afincado en Praga, viaja a su ciudad natal, Bilbao, tras largos años de ausencia. Le acompaña su esposa checa Jarka.
Nada más llegar, ella empieza a advertir en su marido extrañas reacciones, sobre todo desde el momento en qué él se encuentra con su antiguo amigo Miguel. Y empieza a indagar, creyendo poder desvelar un pasado que Fernando siempre le ocultó.
Lo que ella ignora es que la partitura checa que toca Fernando contiene algo más que una bella melodía ("El mar es azul"): un complicado asunto que va a enfrentar a dos hombres y que, obrfando como un catalizador en la traumática psicología que el pasado dejó en Fernando, va a precipitar los aconteciemientos... |
Fernando, a violinist living in Praga, returns to his natal city, Bilbao, in order to participate in some musical concerts. He returns with his czechoslovakian wife Jarka, after having been gone for many years.
No sooner have they arrived then she notices that Fernando beings to act strangely especially after meeting up with his old friend Miguel. She unwittingly begins to investigate thinkieng she will discover someting in his past that he has always hidden from her.
What she doens't realize is that the czechoslavakian musical score that Fernando plays is more than just a beautiful melody ("The sea is blue"). It turns out to be part of a traumatic psicology from the past which acts a catalyst, precipitating events and causing the two men to confronsts each other. |
